ink.learning has grown out of the successful Scottish animation studio, ink.digital, based in Dundee, and represents its growing engagement with the educational sector.

ink.learning is focusing on a product line of Primary Steps educational games that draw on the core character based skills of the animation team. We create exciting and innovative educational games software that engage children with a fresh learning experience using intuitive interfaces such as a dance mat to promote physical activity and co-ordination.

Our games break away from the standard look and feel of today’s educational software. Featuring bold and colourful original characters, our games are designed for a young audience and developed with imagination and quality, traditionally found in the home console market.

Primary Steps, Maths and Phonics are two new games that deliver a unique style, designed to appeal to early learners from three years old. Primary Steps combines Learning, Physical Activity & Fun into games that will grip the whole class from start to finish. The entertaining, teacher friendly games can be played using intuitive interfaces such as an interactive whiteboard, keyboard, or mouse and features a dance mat that promotes physical activity and improved co-ordination.
