Who’s ink.learning and what do they do?
ink.learning is a subsidiary of the Scottish animation studio, ink.digital. Primary Steps Maths and Primary Steps Phonics draw on the core skills of the animation team resulting in innovative educational games software. Each game features bold and colourful original characters typical of those found in the home console market. Suitable for primary 1 and 2 and based on the established teaching curriculum, the games are both rewarding and fun.
The games can be played using a mouse, keyboard, an interactive whiteboard as well as an optional dance mat. Children physically select the correct answers while learning to relate and develop ideas and methods to solve practical problems.
What others think…
Primary Steps has been an essential resource for the promotion of ‘Active Learning’ within our authority. It sits perfectly within the Early and First level outcomes of Curriculum for Excellence. Pupils and staff using this resource have found it to be engaging and relevant to the new curriculum but most importantly great fun!
